What you can expect when joining the team
Based remotely out of British Columbia, the Senior Account Executive is responsible for pioneering market expansion and client development in British Columbia for Petal's portfolio of SaaS solutions.
Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration for enterprise accounts in the healthcare sector. Experience in enterprise B2B sales, mastering longer sales cycles, customer relations at different levels, and having a rich network of contacts, excellent relationship building, negotiation, and technical skills will enable you to be successful in this role.
Your daily life
During the day, you will be led to:
- Drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration for enterprise accounts in the healthcare sector in your assigned territory;
- Leverage your existing database of contacts to prospect high-potential opportunities and build relationships with key hospital players to jumpstart pipeline development;
- Develop and execute on account-based strategies from scratch to drive pipeline creation and establish a strong client base;
- Travel within an assigned territory to conduct face-to-face meetings, demos, and discovery sessions with potential customers;
- Help customers achieve their goals by understanding the foundation of their needs and successfully articulating compelling value proposition and ROI;
- Identify, address, and overcome potential buying obstacles unique to the healthcare sector in British Columbia;
- Clearly articulate and demonstrate our value proposition, positioning Petal as the clear number one choice for prospects;
- Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally with sales engineering for solutions modelling, as well as with inside sales, customer success and marketing teams to uncover new opportunities and drive success;
- Grow your network and Petal’s brand awareness by attending conferences, workshops and industry events;
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of daily activities in Salesforce CRM to track progress.
Requirements
Your profile
Are you a tech-savvy, self-motivated sales professional, known for your capacity to drive new business? Are you looking for the opportunity to participate in the growth of a high potential company within a rapidly evolving environment? The sky is the limit! If you have:
- 10+ years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales in the healthcare technology industry, showcasing a proven ability to build pipelines, conduct extensive prospecting, and leverage key contacts for business development;
- Experience in enterprise SaaS software selling (a strong asset);
- A demonstrated track record of prospecting, qualifying, and closing sales, consistently achieving quota expectations through proactive lead generation and strategic relationship-building efforts;
- The flexibility and willingness to travel and work on the road, engaging directly with potential clients to drive business growth and foster relationships;
- Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills, enabling you to cultivate strong connections with prospects at all organizational levels and tailor your sales approach to each persona's specific needs;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations that effectively articulate the value proposition of our solutions and drive conversion;
- A resilient entrepreneurial spirit and a high degree of autonomy, empowering you to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment, where initiative and innovation are valued;
- Since you will be regularly interacting with English-speaking colleagues and clients located outside of Québec, proficiency in both English (spoken, written, and read) is required.
