There is an opportunity for a Senior Digital Analyst, Analytics Operations to join the Ford E-commerce team and support our digital automobile customer journeys. We are on the lookout for a dynamic and skilled candidate, with a strong emphasis on analytics experience. You should be adept at supporting the development, management, execution, and communication of digital analytics and website optimization product roadmaps. Possessing a deep understanding of analytics strategies, and introducing new capabilities and data automation opportunities that align with both business objectives and customer needs is beneficial.

As the Senior Digital Analyst, you will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining processes, advocating for data governance, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality analytics requests. Experience with digital testing platforms for experience optimization and prototyping is a plus. A strong ability to leverage data to gain insights and inform strategic decisions, as well as the capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, is essential.

In this Analytics Operations role, you will serve as a pivotal champion of digital analytics products. Your collaboration will span across the organization, working closely with each of the analytics/optimization leads, website product owners, merchandising stakeholders, development/tagging partners, program managers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to formulate, execute, and oversee the digital analytics and website optimization projects, roadmaps, and strategy.

What you’ll be able to do:

  • Efficiently manage and prioritize a portfolio of overlapping projects, fostering strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and business sponsors, while taking into account the interdependencies between projects.
  • Report on project progress by tracking timelines and announcing new analytics features and launches.
  • Translate business data needs into technical specifications for analysts.
  • Establish and maintain processes, advocate for data governance, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality analytics requests.
  • Engage with businesses, and influence their strategic decisions based on analytics insights.
  • Support the development, management, execution, and communication of digital analytics and web optimization product roadmaps, aligning them with the broader organizational objectives.
  • Proactively identify potential obstacles and risks, implementing strategies to prevent or mitigate their impact.
  • Foster an analytics strategy that introduces new capabilities and data integration opportunities, ensuring a harmonious balance between business objectives and stakeholder needs.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our digital customer journeys and user behavior across all channels (website, mobile app, social media, email, etc.).
  • Exercise judgment and interpretation of requests to deliver the appropriate metrics with the necessary context.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in web analytics and apply them to our digital customer journey analysis.
  • Seek opportunities to improve the reporting processes, data collection, and delivery methods.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support the evolving needs of the digital analytics and website optimization program.

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistical, Data Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in web analytics or digital marketing.
  • 2+ years of hands-on expertise with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Tag Manager, or equivalent digital analytics technologies.
  • Expertise in project management and agile methodology.
  • Prior experience with A/B testing and multivariate testing..

Our preferred requirements:

  • Advanced degree in marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistical, Data Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with customer-facing websites and understanding user behaviors on automotive OEM eCommerce experiences.
  • Ability to derive key insights from data and articulate them to cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive, inquisitive, and eager to learn new tools and techniques.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate confidently in uncertain situations
  • Strong problem-solving, and analytical skills, and ability to interpret complex data sets and generate insights to build and tell a story.
  • Able to manage time effectively within a complex environment, and always remain composed in the event of conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment/
  • Passion for customer experience and continuous improvement.
