Senior Application Architect/Manager is expected work with systems engineers and applications in guiding them to building products/delivering projects and own the entire life cycle. The job involves selection of hardware & software tool, design the application/system & take it through the complete life cycle including post deployment maintenance. The job includes staffing, training, vendor development etc.
Roles & responsibilities
- Project/Product design
- Overall architecture & framework design
- Specification development
- Project & Product development Management.
- Scope, quality, cost & time management
- Timely delivery & quality check on all projects
- Staffing & Training
- Identify skills required for the project
- Conduct interview and build internal capacity
- Arrange and provide training to new & existing engineers
- Vendor Development
- Identify & develop vendor network for the projects
- Vendor supply quality management
- Documentation &version control
- Owns the documentation of the entire product/project life cycle
- Maintenance of all documents & code with version control
