About the role:
As a Senior Business Development Representative (Sr. BDR) at Skydio, you will leverage your previous BDR experience to drive qualified outbound meetings and expand our business specific to SLED or Public Safety across North America. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a small team, master the outbound skillset with advanced 1:1 training, and solidify the foundation for an unstoppable career in sales.
How you'll make an impact:
- Consistently surpass your monthly quota of qualified opportunities
- Leverage multi-channel prospecting to set meetings with exec-level contacts
- Qualify prospects by conducting high-level 15-minute discovery calls
- Travel 1-2 times per month for industry events; qualify prospects in-person
- Collaborate with the team to consistently improve our outbound process
What makes you a good fit:
- You consistently perform in the Top 10% of your outbound BDR team
- You make 100+ Dials/Day; you have experienced the joy of having 10+ daily conversations with exec-level contacts; you are fluent in the language of executives.
- You are able to identify your Top 20% of your accounts (and prospects) and focus 80% of your energy there - leveraging your creativity where it makes the biggest impact, automating the rest
- You have a consistent daily process and operate like a well-oiled machine
- You identify problems; and you expect your leaders to empower you to solve them
- Bonus: You’ve worked with Orum, Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, SalesNav, Vidyard
- Bonus: Previous experiance with SLED or Public Safety target accounts

Compensation Range: The annual base salary range for this position is $63,750 - $80,625 + commission*. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. In addition to base salary, Skydio full-time employees are eligible to enroll in our benefit plans and take advantage of a variety of incentives and stipends.
*For some positions the pay may be dependent upon the individual's regional location.
