As a Senior Compliance Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to meaningfully impact how our organization scales by supporting Zscaler’s Global Compliance program in accordance with International and regional compliance and regulatory frameworks. This role is specifically focussed towards managing EU and UK based security and compliance certifications for the EMEA Market.

What You’ll Do:

  • Your position is specifically focussed towards managing EU and UK based security and compliance certifications for the EMEA Market such as ENS (Esquema Nacional de Seguridad) certifications, UK Gov Cyber essentials Plus, Germany Gov C5,, etc,.
  • You will be contributing to Zscaler's Global compliance program that encompasses International and regional compliance and regulatory frameworks including SOC 2, Cloud Security Alliance STAR, ISO27001, ISO 27701 and ISO 27018 certifications as well as the regional certifications such as Japan ISMAP,, Australia IRAP and Canada ITSG-33.
  • You will act as the liaison with external auditors, government agencies wherever applicable for audit and certification of Zscaler Cloud platform.
  • You will also work on other EMEA regional compliance programs as well
  • You will work closely with Engineering, Operations and Customer Care teams to ensure all the Security and Compliance controls are operating effectively to sufficiently address the underlying risk of the security and compliance requirements of the framework.
  • You will support Zscaler’s Sales Enablement activities and respond to Customer /Prospects questions on Zscaler regional Compliance program roadmap and posture
  • You will proactively maintain awareness of emerging regional trends and changes to Industry Standards and benchmarks in your region.
  • Manage the regional compliance program plan including helping on risk analysis and mitigation strategies to meet aggressive timelines
  • Proactively track and recommend alternative approaches for risk mitigation
  • Perform periodic control activities to sustain compliance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis as needed.
  • Track plan of actions and milestones towards successful certification

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's / Master's Degree with a focus in Information Technology / Computer Science or related field
  • Significant cybersecurity regulatory compliance experience
  • Knowledge of one or more EMEA regional government compliance framework(s) listed in the above section is a must to have and others such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 and PCI, are good to have.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in reading and writing in English and Spanish essential and other local regional languages advantageous
  • Knowledge of common IT systems (Operating Systems, network devices, applications), Core IT processes/services such as SDLC, Identity and Access Management, Vulnerability Management, Backup and DR processes will be useful
  • Experience with AWS, Azure & GCP environments is a plus
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. It is important that the candidate is a team player and possesses strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to connect and communicate with both business and IT technical staff including IT and Business management.
