Is an indie company based in Silicon Valley, California, that provides solution used by Fortune 500 companies helping them reduce costs and increase operational efficiency.
Our Product:
Aggregating data from more than 40 US-based and outside US carriers the system provides visibility for global supply chains, helping to enhance collaboration between multiple suppliers, customers, and supply chain partners by providing real-time insights about delivery costs, transactions, and other relevant supply chain information. Solution provides analytics tools that help companies not only control their shipping rates but also negotiate better contracts and identify fraudulent activities.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain an OLAP ETL project using PL/SQL, AWS Glue (Python), RedShift
Support Java and Data Science development teams as an Oracle database expert
Develop and support other SQL and PL/SQL code existing in the platform
Requirements:
Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operation Research, Economics or a related quantitative bachelor or master’s degree
4+ years of experience with data querying languages SQL/PL SQL
4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Database as a Developer, DBA or Application DBA
Proven AI-assisted development experience
AI-coding certifications e.g. Claude Code Certified Architect or similar
English level: Upper-Intermediate or above
Nice to have:
4+ years of experience with large-scale data warehousing and analytics projects, modeling, ETL development
Experience with DWH / ETL using Amazon Web Services technologies (DMS, Glue, Redshift, Athena etc)
Experience with other columnar or hybrid data warehouse solutions (e.g. Snowflake, ClickHouse, BigQuery, Databricks)
Experience with programming languages: Python/Java/Scala
Experience in projects involving cross-functional teams and leaders to build scalable processes and metrics
Experience articulating business questions and using quantitative techniques to arrive at a solution using available data
Experience building data products incrementally and integrating and managing datasets from multiple sources
Ability to think big, understand business strategy, provide consultative business analysis, and leverage technical skills to create insightful, effective data strategy
Experience with data visualization software such as Tableau
