Responsibilities will include:
- Managing the overall data engineering and data strategy for the Converge Media Planner development initiative
- Developing and maintaining ETL processes for various TV–based data sources e.g. Automatic Content Recognition (ACR), Nielsen Panel Data, etc.
- Architecting the TVIQ data warehouse including all schemas, tables, and views
- Translation of complex json structures into relevant SQL queries
- Working with team members to define and develop process orchestration in Airflow and Python
- Leading the transformation and translation of data into inputs for analytic processes
- Design and develop solutions in AWS
- Design and develop solutions in Snowflake
- Working with data science team members to develop linear and CTV plan optimizations
- Developing a thorough understanding of media buying for both linear and CTV space
- Develop reporting of KPIs, insights and recommendations
- Recommending technologies and products to improve department-wide processes
Who You Are:
- 7+ years of experience in a data engineering or related role.
- Experience with data modeling and ease working within databases; experience with designing and building products is preferred
- Required Skills: SQL, Python, AWS, Unix/Linux OS, RDS, Snowflake
- Preferred Skills: Airflow, Elasticsearch
- Excellent analytical skills
- You pride yourself on your ability to think and can break down complex problems into simple, solvable pieces
- Love for technology – Exposure to databases, programming, web design and software development methodologies a plus
- A mountain of patience when it comes to problem solving
