    About this role

    Overview:

    We are seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to lead and drive the software development teams in achieving timely and high-quality product delivery. This role involves coaching teams, facilitating Agile practices, managing delivery risks, and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders. The ideal candidate has experience managing multiple development teams and a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.

    Key responsibilities:

    Agile Leadership & Team Facilitation

    • Serve as a servant-leader for Backend, Frontend, and QA/AQA teams, ensuring Agile principles and Scrum best practices are effectively implemented

    • Coach and mentor team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance

    • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, to maintain collaboration and transparency

    • Identify and remove impediments, ensuring teams remain focused on delivering value

    Delivery Management & Execution

    • Own the end-to-end delivery process, ensuring timely execution of features and initiatives based on an approved roadmap

    • Collaborate with the Product Owner and Engineering Leads to define feature delivery plans, including scope, dependencies, and risk assessment

    • Monitor and control feature delivery progress across sprints, ensuring commitments align with the agreed plan

    • Proactively manage risks and dependencies, coordinating across multiple teams to ensure smooth delivery

    • Enforce stakeholder engagement, ensuring expectations are managed, concerns are addressed, and feedback loops are effective

    • Lead issue resolution during sprints by working closely with team members and engineering leads

    Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

    • Continuously evaluate and refine delivery frameworks, improving efficiency and effectiveness in Agile workflows

    • Maintain up-to-date documentation on delivery processes, agreements, and best practices

    • Drive process automation and improvements, ensuring alignment with best practices

    • Highlight and track quality-related issues and trends, collaborating with QA Leads to drive product quality enhancements

    • Ensure effective cross-team collaboration, helping teams navigate operational challenges

    Team Management & Development

    • Conduct soft skills evaluations and risk assessments during interviews

    • Participate in performance reviews and probation period assessments, providing structured feedback

    • Optimize team composition and workload management, ensuring efficient task assignments and skill balance

    • Track individual and team performance, conducting regular 1:1s and implementing performance improvement plans where necessary

    • Manage vacation and absence planning, ensuring minimal impact on delivery timelines

    Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

    • Provide weekly reports on feature/project progress, risks, blockers, and key metrics

    • Deliver sprint reports, including issue tracking, root cause analysis, and improvement actions

    • Prepare monthly capacity allocation reports, offering transparency into feature costs and resource allocation

    Required Experience:

    • 5+ years of experience as a Project/Delivery Manager in the IT industry across multiple organizations

    • Proven ability to manage multiple teams of 10+ members

    • Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills

    • Adaptability to changing priorities and the ability to navigate uncertainty effectively

    • Proficiency in Jira (Plans, eazyBI, BigPicture) and Confluence

    • English proficiency at B2+ level and strong command of Russian

    Nice to have:

    • Experience in the Gambling industry

    • Background in product-focused companies

    • Prior experience in software development

    • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certifications
