At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This position may be a hybrid or fully remote position, as decided by your manager. If designated as hybrid, you’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office location, so you should live within commuting distance. If designated as remote, you’ll be working remotely from your home and may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings. Your hiring manager can share more about this role’s hybrid or remote designation.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

As a Sr Project Manager (UX Design) at GoDaddy, you are responsible for leading multi-stakeholder marketing projects, and workflows across our creative teams. This also includes advising on marketing technology solutions that improve the velocity of marketing experimentation. The role will work closely with Marketing Managers, UX design, Regional Account Managers & Product Managers to ensure projects are properly resourced, and set up for success & act as the central point of knowledge and coordination for multi-team initiatives and processes. You will thrive in driving efficiency and bringing structure to processes and projects by providing teams with guidance, knowledge, and resources to optimize and simplify operations. As a highly engaged Design Sr. Project Manager, you will own challenges and opportunities from end-to-end, have excellent communication skills, and be adept at bridging the gap between disconnected teams. This position’s work environment is energetic and dynamic and requires a person who is a self-starter and comfortable operating at a fast pace with minimal direction.

What you'll get to do...

  • Define, shape, and mature integrated marketing operational processes, project structures, standards, and templates, to drive efficiency, alignment, and velocity in a constantly evolving environment
  • Be the conduit for communication in collaboration with partners, leadership, and team members, working with development teams to act as a change agent and influence the adoption of new processes to ensure efficient workflows to get results
  • Develop/monitor objectives and key results that measure progress at project, initiative, and organizational levels.
  • Be creative, innovative, and solution-oriented, taking the initiative to develop ground-up solutions to ease process and project burdens.
  • Maintain an accurate record of work in progress across internal creative teams
  • Shown success as a Digital Asset Manager or similar in a creative production environment
  • Provide regular status reports to management, including identification and escalation of project blockers, risks, issues
  • Provides support to partners through the discovery process and then develops the project plan including objective(s), requirements, resourcing, and dependencies
  • Provide daily, full-traffic management of internal creative teams & ensure creative outputs are aligned with briefs
  • Raise roadblocks to management as necessary

Your experience should include...

  • 3+ years’ of project management experience for large-scale initiatives spanning cross-functional teams with complex deployments
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks from multiple sources in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining the highest quality standards
  • Basic understanding of various Agile delivery methods (Kanban, Scrum, Lean)
  • Familiarity with leading large-scale projects using Work Management and/or Ticket Management systems such as Workfront, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Able to prioritize varying demands and multitask as needed
  • Self-motivated. Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven organization
  • Comfortable collaborating and influencing team members, working with development teams and other business groups to get results, often without direct management authority.
  • Ability to work and communicate with individuals at multiple levels
  • Technical ability to quickly grasp complex issues and communicate directly with technical teams in an agile development environment or fast-paced environment.
  • An entrepreneurial mentality and self-starter with tried ability to achieve bold goals despite opposing priorities

  • Preferred experience with marketing automation and program management tools (e.g., Workfront, Salesforce, Smartsheet)
