The Senior Digital Marketing Analyst will support cross-functional teams by collecting data and sharing insights and recommendations with other members of the team, such as web developers, designers, content managers, and user experience researchers, as well as client-side stakeholders. They will actively participate in the design and development of web products by evaluating relevant data and providing recommendations to improve usability, engagement, and other product goals. Their quantitative analysis will provide an objective source of truth to help the rest of the team better understand the user and make unbiased decisions.
This role will report to the digital marketing analytics manager and join a small team of digital marketing analysts as part of the content strategy practice area.

This role may be based remotely from anywhere in the U.S., excluding its territories. Staff must be available during regular core operating hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday, except for federal holidays. Any schedule modifications to the core operating hours must be approved in advance by Bixal and our client.
Because this position requires a Public Trust clearance, US Citizenship is required.

- Participate in client events and forums to positively represent the organization and develop and maintain relationships with the industry.
- As appropriate, play an active role in new client acquisition by supporting business development initiatives to enhance and grow Bixal's business in each of the areas that it works.
Responsibilities
- Analyze web data, search data, and survey comments to help answer specific questions; provide the overall status of USAGov channels; and recommend courses of action.
- Perform keyword research and analysis in English and Spanish, visualize search data in the dashboard(s), and share key insights with stakeholders.
- Interpret qualitative data in English and Spanish, including survey comments and user interviews.
- Explain data trends and insights in a way that is appropriate for intended audience.
- Use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to create custom events utilizing website HTML and the data layer to track user interactions with the website.
- Understand SEO best practices and make recommendations to improve content, design, and website structure for increased findability and organic traffic.
- Apply insights to make recommendations for content, SEO, and design.
- Work collaboratively with individuals from different teams.
- Analyze social media and other marketing channel data and provide strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required and at least three years of relevant professional experience.
- Bilingual fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish, with demonstrated writing and editing skills in both languages. A pre-hire assessment of these abilities will be conducted to confirm the appropriate proficiency.
- At least two years of SEO experience and a deep understanding of Google’s search algorithm.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of digital marketing best practices to be able to support various marketing channels with analysis and recommendations.
- At least two years of experience using Google Analytics.
- Advanced knowledge of GA4.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Tag Manager.
- Intermediate knowledge of html, CSS, javascript, and website development and how it relates to analytics and SEO.
- Advanced data visualization skills with Tableau and other data visualization tools such as PowerBI and Looker Studio.
Nice to Have
- Experience with natural language processing.
- Experience with R or Python.
