About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a strong foundation in Ruby and experience with the Padrino framework. This role plays a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that power our core business operations. This role requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using Ruby and Padrino
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party applications.
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to best practices and security standards.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers.
Contribute to the improvement of our development processes and tools
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
Develop and maintain high-quality front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional and user-friendly interfaces.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize website performance
Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 security standards and best practices in secure development Qualifications
5+ years of professional software development experience with Ruby
Strong experience with the Padrino framework (or Sinatra)
Strong proficiency with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
Extensive experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Excellent testing skills, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with team members and stakeholders
Passion for learning new technologies and a continuous improvement mindset
Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with an ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
Demonstrated experience with MongoDB Cloud services and AWS environments, including deployment, management, and optimization
Solid experience in developing and maintaining front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular, or similar)
