**Who We're Looking For
**We are seeking a full-time Senior Unreal Gameplay Engineer for current and future games at our growing remote studio!

Working on the border between engineering and game design, you’ll create the movement and camera controls to deliver uniquely rich and tactile gameplay. Create systems to let our players navigate a magical wilderness in a way that’s playful, intuitive, responsive, and immersive. Break new ground in third-person character motion as we build an ever-growing online game.

We seek collaborative individuals that are excited to contribute innovative and original ideas across all aspects of the game's design & production, working together as a team.


  • Using a mix of Blueprints and C++ in the Unreal engine, take ownership of the
    design and implementation of our game’s character, controls and camera,
    implementing core systems that will support ongoing development of our game for

    years after launch.

  • Advocate for excellence in gameplay and animation across the entire studio.

  • Work closely with design, animation, QA and other disciplines, providing your
    technical expertise to inform their decisions and incorporating their needs into your work.


  • You should have a minimum of six years of industry experience across one or more
    shipped titles to be considered for this role.

  • Ability and drive to contribute innovative and original ideas across all aspects of the

    game's design & production.

  • Ability to creatively overcome complex gameplay and systems problems with

    innovative solutions.

  • Excited and able to work with an agile and flexible team and participate in major


  • Expertise in Unreal and Blueprints.

  • Familiarity with C++.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

  • Readiness to lead with integrity, honesty, and accountability, taking ownership of

    your actions and decisions.

  • Capable of working independently, keeping on-task and motivated.

  • Located in PT, MT, CT, ET time zone, or willing to relocate.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Expertise in C++.

  • One or more shipped real-time networked titles.

  • Deep experience in one or more of these specialties:

  • Procedural and/or IK animation

  • Debugging and optimizing netcode

  • Complex NPC behavior AI
