
We are seeking a highly experienced IFS Techno-Functional Platform Specialist to support and optimize the IFS Cloud environment across configuration, extensibility, integrations, and platform administration. This is not a core development role, but requires deep hands-on expertise with IFS configuration, workflows, security, upgrades, and troubleshooting within a complex enterprise environment.
Core Responsibilities
IFS Configuration & Platform Administration
Configure and support IFS Cloud platform (Aurena client, page designer, custom fields, custom actions)
Manage IFS extensibility framework (custom events, workflows, business process automation, projections)
Administer security model including users, roles, permission sets, and access control
Manage background jobs, scheduled tasks, report routing, and system configurations
Support IFS upgrades, service updates, environment readiness, regression validation, and rollback planning Integrations & Technical Support
Support IFS Connect, queues, routing rules, and platform integrations
Troubleshoot application, workflow, data, and integration-related issues
Investigate logs, system behavior, and performance issues to identify root causes
Monitor system health, background processing, and platform performance
Support configuration and optimization of native and extended IFS functionality Collaboration & Documentation
Partner with IT/IS teams and business stakeholders on prioritization and solution design
Coordinate platform changes, enhancements, and system improvements
Document configurations, integrations, workflows, and technical procedures
Support continuous improvement and automation initiatives Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with IFS Cloud / IFS Applications
Deep experience in IFS configuration, extensibility, and platform administration (not core code development)
Experience with Aurena, custom fields, custom actions, events, workflows, and projections
Strong knowledge of IFS security model (users, roles, permissions, access control)
Experience supporting IFS upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Experience with IFS Connect, integrations, queues, and routing rules
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within ERP environments
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong communication skills and experience working with U.S.-based teams Nice to Have
Experience in complex enterprise environments
Exposure to business process automation and system optimization
Familiarity with integration best practices and documentation standards
Experience with performance tuning and platform monitoring within IFS Benefits
