Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Indirect Tax Analyst to assist in managing and supporting the company’s indirect tax compliance, reporting, and audit processes across multiple jurisdictions, with key decisions made under managerial oversight. This role ensures accurate reporting of business assets, timely filing of returns, and proper application of valuation and depreciation methods while minimizing tax exposure and maintaining compliance with applicable laws. This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated tax expert looking to significantly enhance their technical skills while making a substantial impact in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
◦ Sales & use tax and property tax returns ◦ Unclaimed property reports ◦ Business licenses and annual reports ◦ Other state and local compliance activities
Assist with or lead state and local tax audits, including documentation and issue resolution
Complete accounting activities, including accruals and reconciliations for sales/use, property taxes and unclaimed property
Identify and implement process improvements and fortify internal controls
Contribute to departmental and company-wide initiatives
Partner cross-functionally and deliver presentations on tax-related matters
Conduct tax research and examination to back technical positions and business transactions
Assist on other ad hoc tax projects and compliance Skills & Requirements Required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent strongly preferred).
Minimum 4+ years of indirect tax experience with a public accounting firm and/or corporate tax department
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)
Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Preferred
Experience in REIT, infrastructure, or telecom/data center industries.
Experience with multi-jurisdictional personal property tax filings.
Exposure to sales & use tax or property tax compliance
