Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and innovative Senior Internal Communications Manager to help build our internal communication function that informs, inspires, and connects our hybrid workforce. You will bring hands-on experience and a collaborative mindset to develop and manage effective internal communication strategies, processes, and tools to ensure we share information effectively. You will also find ways to champion our culture by highlighting our work internally and externally.

YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF: (i.e. Responsibilities)

    • Define and execute a strategic internal communications strategy to communicate our company strategy, programs, and processes to help develop and retain great talent across the company.
    • Build robust communication plans for various programs, developing messaging and materials, and exploring creative new ways of communicating.
    • Support on a wide range of internal communications, including emails, FAQs, leader/manager guides, and videos to drive understanding of programs, processes and initiatives across the company. You should be as comfortable working on an internal comms plan as you are rolling up your sleeves and producing a newsletter or video.
    • Lead the planning and production of key communication moments including biweekly All Hands and annual Company Kickoff.
    • Define and execute a strategy to drive an asynchronous work culture and consistency for how we use our communications channels.
    • Build relationships with executives and stakeholder partners and act as a strategic thought partner on their communications to their teams, and to the rest of the company.
    • Drive thoughtful and impactful communications that support the evolving needs of a high growth organization (including change management and culture initiatives).
    • Advance collaboration with People’s Experience teams across the HR/People and other business functions.
    • Forge relationships across the company and be an informed, trusted voice for employee feedback and sentiment.
    • Analyze primary and secondary employee satisfaction research to develop appropriate internal communications programs
    • Understand our various employee audiences, keep a pulse on the organization, and run feedback loops as you go.
    • Manage and report on the measurement and results of internal comms programs

YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU HAVE: (i.e. Required Qualifications)

    • 8-10 years of Internal Communications experience, including building and executing strategic internal communications programs.
    • Located to work from the US Eastern time zone.
    • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills (written, verbal, and visual) with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, concise, and compelling messages.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment with continuous change. Multi-tasker with strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects end-to-end.
    • Bias for action and focused on results.
    • Ability to quickly solve problems, run customer feedback loops, and meet tight deadlines.
    • Skilled in influencing collaboration with internal and external teams (comprising employees of all levels), and in providing cross-functional communication leadership
    • A trustworthy and dependable team player, partnering with other Marketing, People and Executive team members.
    • Enormous energy, culturally-aware, and a sense of humor
