HITRUST is seeking a Senior Java Software Developer to work within a dynamic team to design and implement new greenfield products. The Java Software Developer will work closely with frontend developers to design the best possible solutions. This position will be Hybrid (if located in DFW), or Remote (if located outside of DFW) with required quarterly travel.
Responsibilities:
- Use TDD and best practices to design and develop Microservices systems with Java and SpringBoot
- Create tools that enhance user experience
Required Skills and Experience:
- 7+ Years of experience in Java and Spring Boot
- 7+ Years of experience with SQL and NoSQL Databases
- Experience with Agile practices
- Knowledge and experience with major cloud technologies (i.e., Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Strong experience using GIT for source control management.
- Experience with Testing Frameworks (Mockito, JUnit)
- Understanding/belief in Test Driven Development
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- 10+ Years of experience in Java and Spring Boot
- 2+ years of proven Test-Driven Development experience
- Experience in Front end technologies (Angular, React, etc.)
