Summary:
Seeking Senior Level Professional Engineers or Architects experienced in evaluating distress to existing buildings, structures and building envelopes who would be responsible for overseeing all aspects of investigative projects including coordinating with clients, performing site visits, managing resources, writing reports, conducting analyses, reviewing building codes, and setting deadlines to ensure project deliverables are submitted in a professional and timely manner. The ideal candidate has an established network of clientele and is experienced with building, establishing, and maintaining rapport with this network.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Acts as a primary lead on projects.
- Coordinates with clients to set up site visits and complete deliverables.
- Manages project resources and sets/meets deadlines to ensure that projects stay on schedule.
- Produces project reports that synthesize data collected from our onsite inspections with environmental factors, material properties, and performance analysis to determine the most likely cause and scope of distress and failures to buildings and components.
- Performs site visits to collect field data on residential, commercial and industrial properties.
- Reviews and interprets relevant building codes as necessary for issues pertaining to the scope of work.
- If requested, oversees the development of repair designs ensuring adequate coordination across disciplines.
- Makes independent decisions for projects including a selection of analysis and testing methods, repair materials (if necessary), and identifying and selecting resources relevant to the project.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Licensed Professional Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Licensed Architect with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
*Base salary and bonus will be commensurate with experience.
