Reporting to the Global Controller, the Senior Manager, Consolidation Corporate Accounting supports the consolidation of Lime’s global financial results across all legal entities and ensures the accurate reporting of US GAAP consolidated financial results. The senior manager coordinates with our shared service organization and regional teams around the world to ensure timely completion of the month-end accounting close process.
We are a remote first company. This is a US based remote position with a preference to hire in Chicago.

What you'll do:

  • Coordinate and execute the global close to ensure on-time and accurate completion of the monthly internal and external US GAAP consolidated financials.
  • Responsible for key close-related tasks including preparing and reviewing consolidation journal entries, supporting assigned account areas, overseeing the analytical review of the monthly consolidated financials, and maintaining internal controls.
  • Manage the ownership of the company’s global chart of accounts hierarchy and mapping to the external financials, including managing updates for proper rollup to the financial statements and coordinating with other impacted departments.
  • Coordinate with shared service organization and regional teams to understand intercompany balances and ensure proper elimination with the consolidated results.
  • Review subsidiary and consolidated financial information and unusual transactions and participate in meetings discussing analysis with Finance Accounting leadership.
  • Prepare and/or review monthly account reconciliations for key accounts as assigned.
  • Support monthly analysis of foreign exchange transactions.
  • Collaborate with FPA, Financial Shared Services Accounting, Internal Audit, Tax, external auditors, and other important members of Lime’s Controllership.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects including IT enhancements for the financial and management reporting processes, analysis of business operations, proposed accounting treatment of unusual transactions or other accounting and finance related matters.
  • Support multiple Corporate Finance Accounting projects to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes.
  • Work with audit functions to develop and improve internal policies to ensure compliance with SOX framework.

About you:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting required, CPA strongly desired.
  • 6+ years of experience with multinational consolidations required, preferably at a publicly traded company.
  • Must have a high degree of technical knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls over accounting reporting, as well as SOX compliance.
  • Experience with accounting for intercompany transactions and foreign exchange transactions.
  • Experience with management reporting.
  • Experience with the implementation and/or maintenance of accounting systems and associated enhancements.
  • Experience with a large ERP platform (Oracle, SAP) in a multi-ledger and global environment.
  • Flexibility to work outside of US business hours to support subsidiaries across the globe.
  • Manage and review the global balance sheet fluctuation review process.
  • Ability to use a variety of software programs and tools to analyze and work with large data sets and accomplish tasks efficiently
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to research issues in a complex accounting structure to resolve problems; detail-oriented, yet able to identify issues and grasp concepts at broader level
  • Must be a highly motivated individual with the ability to multi-task while working with a variety of individuals in both team and self-directed environments
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, with all levels of management
  • Ability to work within defined time constraints and within deadlines during month end financial close while driving longer-term projects to successful completion
  • Preferred experience:

  • Experience identifying and improving monthly close efficiency and timeliness.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $105,000 - $150,000. Equity and benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, depending on the position offered. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the candidate’s location of residence, the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications. In addition to base salary, some roles may be eligible for a variable bonus based on a combination of company performance, employee performance, and management discretion.
