We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Events Field Marketing to support our Marketing team.
Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Events Field Marketing position is a new, critical leadership role for the marketing team since it creates the global strategy and execution of trade shows, conferences, and virtual events and will report to the VP, Demand Generation on the marketing team. This individual is an experienced hands-on events strategist to help in building demand generation pipeline and drive opportunities with our sales team. In this role, you'll have project ownership and strong client/exhibitor interaction skills and a deep understanding for event planning and tradeshow execution. You'll bring strong experience negotiating with trade show contractors, managing exhibit booths, developing floor plans, and coordinating design specs with the creative team. This position will manage one Field Marketing Events Coordinator and requires a proactive, outgoing, dynamic and confident individual.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the strategy, develop and manage third-party event contractors such as Freeman, GES, etc.
  • Manage the entire trade show floor, work with vendors at the show site, and work with the Coalfire marketing team and/or regional sales team on messaging.
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of regional events and sponsorships, including event logistics, booth setup, staffing, messaging, and promotion to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to drive various hosted event formats such as: CxO events, customer-led panels, fireside chats, roundtables, webinars, executive briefings, and other bespoke experiences.
  • Develop and implement field-related pipeline acceleration programs in concert with sales.
  • Collaborate with product marketing, campaigns and creative teams to create compelling marketing materials, including presentations, collateral, case studies, and sales tools, optimized for target audiences.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs, provide marketing support, and ensure alignment on messaging, goals, and strategies.
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of field marketing initiatives, track KPIs, and provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders for continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key industry partners, associations, and influencers to enhance brand visibility and credibility within the cybersecurity community.
  • Oversee complete on-site program/tradeshow operation (some travel required,~25%)

What You'll Bring

  • 7-10 years of B2B field marketing leadership experience working for a tech or services organization handling at least 20 events in a year. Significant experience with trade shows is required.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles, demand generation strategies, and sales processes.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in marketing analytics tools and platforms to measure campaign performance and ROI.
  • Has managed and coordinated event planning; attendee registration and advertising sponsorships.
  • Experience with A/V
  • Has staff management experience
  • Experience in creating and executing virtual events using Zoom, Cvent or similar video applications.
  • Computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and similar applications.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools such as Pardot, Marketo or Eloqua.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Wrike, Asana or similar.
  • Bachelor’s degree (four-year college or university) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

At Coalfire, equal opportunity and pay equity is integral to the way we do business. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role is $94,000 to $163,000 based on national salary averages. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certifications and other factors. You may also be eligible to participate in annual incentive, commission, and/or recognition programs.
