    • Serve as a trusted resource for clients regarding retirement plan administration and compliance matters.

    • Build strong client relationships that support high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

    • Own the stewardship of assigned client relationships and ensure consistent follow-through on client needs and commitments.

    • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients through both verbal and written communication.

    Plan Administration & Compliance

    • Manage all aspects of annual retirement plan administration, including compliance testing, government forms, and valuation packages.

    • Perform and/or review annual compliance testing, including ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, 410(b), 415, 401(a)(4), 401(s), deductibility, and 402(g) testing, as applicable.

    • Review, prepare, and help ensure the timely filing of Form 5500 for assigned plans.

    • Assist clients in meeting applicable IRS and Department of Labor deadlines for qualified retirement plans.

    • Review participant distribution and loan requests and support internal distribution and loan teams with compliance-related questions.

    • Maintain accurate and complete plan records and documentation.

    • Apply knowledge of IRS, Department of Labor, and ERISA requirements when advising clients and supporting plan administration.

    • Maintain current knowledge of retirement plan legislation and proposed regulatory changes through self-study, industry resources, and company-sponsored training.

    • Assist with IRS and Department of Labor audits when assigned plans are selected for review.

    • Support external auditors when a plan is subject to an annual plan audit.

    Team Collaboration

    • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client and plan administration issues efficiently.

    • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as requested.

    • Contribute to a team-oriented environment by assisting colleagues and supporting broader departmental needs.

    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Experience administering qualified retirement plans in a TPA, recordkeeping, or retirement services environment.

    • Working knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and Department of Labor regulations related to qualified retirement plans.

    • Experience performing or reviewing retirement plan compliance testing and Form 5500 filings.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

    • Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-service mindset.
