Your Role

  • Delivery Process: Understand and apply design thinking principles and UX design strategies. Use client and user feedback to enhance design outputs. Consistently apply a user-centric approach throughout the design process, aiming to enhance user experience based on empirical data and design ethics. Produce materials for clients and developers, including user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and assets.
  • Lead Design Discoveries: Facilitate complex and prolonged design discovery sessions, acting as the subject matter expert and providing recommendations to clients.
  • Project Delivery and Leadership: Anchor projects in their area of expertise, leading client meetings on design-specific matters and implementing project-level solutions with minimal guidance.
  • Quality Focus & Control: Apply attention to detail and industry-specific best practices to ensure high-quality outputs. Respond constructively to feedback and accurately implement changes based on work requirements. Ensure design submissions are of consistently high quality, involving other departments like QA and Engineering to evaluate outputs, and set improvement standards to reduce errors.
  • Mentorship and Team Development: Proactively mentor team members, providing coaching and supporting their professional growth, and being recognized as a technical guide within the team.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Leadership: Demonstrate leadership across different teams and disciplines, initiating and leading committees to analyze and improve processes.
  • Client and Stakeholder Communication: Manage communication cadences with project stakeholders, effectively presenting project statuses and tailoring communications to different audiences.
  • Feedback Management: Provide and solicit constructive feedback, using it to improve team performance and work quality.
  • Process Improvement and Adaptability: Identify and implement changes to processes, driving improvement initiatives, and adapting to changing circumstances to meet project goals.
  • Industry Engagement and ThoughtLeadership: Engage actively in the professional community, contributing through speaking and writing to demonstrate thought leadership.
  • Strategic Influence and Vision: Understand the long-term vision of the product, challenging project scopes to ensure alignment with high-quality standards and strategic goals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Defining and leading digital transformations at a strategic level
  • Working with clients to determine where they need to go and how to get there
  • Work closely with the Product Managers embedded with each team/project
  • Working with clients as they are immersed with our teams, learning agile XP with lean methodologies

REQUIREMENTS

  • 6+ years experience in a Product Design or UX/UI role
  • Proficiency of UX design discipline – user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, etc.
  • Strong proficiency with the latest design tools and software, Figma
  • Self-motivated to take initiative and ownership of your work
  • Immaculate attention to detail, typography, and interactivity
  • Have a user-centric mindset throughout your design process
  • Consistently up to date with the latest design trends and best practices
  • Collaborate well with Product Managers, Engineers, and Sales
  • Help guide product decisions through user testing and iterative feedback loops
  • Rapidly iterate on design prototypes and working applications
  • Produce materials for clients and developers, including user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and assets
  • Open to new tools and methodologies, yet opinionated about best practices
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates previous work samples
