We are looking for a Senior Product Designer with 5+ years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will drive the design of intuitive and impactful user experiences for our legal tech platform, helping transform how immigration services are delivered. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers, to design seamless web and mobile interfaces that solve user pain points and elevate the user experience.
As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a key role in both defining the design vision and executing it across all product areas. You’ll have ownership over the entire design process, from ideation to delivery, ensuring that our products are beautiful, usable, and align with our company’s goals of improving access to legal services.
You will work closely with our CPO, who was a founding member of Designer Fund, the leading VC firm that has invested in breakout companies such as Stripe, Notion, Gusto, and many more.
This is a full-time position and will follow US business working hours. (Candidates must be based in Mexico)
Duties and Responsibilities
- End-to-End Design: Lead the design of new product features and improvements across web and mobile platforms, from concept to final handoff.
- User Research & Testing: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights, using data to drive design decisions and enhance user experience.
- Wireframes & Prototypes: Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and gather feedback.
- Visual Design: Design aesthetically pleasing and cohesive user interfaces that are consistent with our brand and user-friendly.
- Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet both user and business needs.
- Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across the platform.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior designers and foster a collaborative design culture within the team.
- Iterative Process: Actively gather feedback, iterate on designs, and continuously improve based on user and stakeholder input.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile designs.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices, with expertise in tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Proficiency in building interactive prototypes to test and validate design concepts.
- Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail and consistency.
- Experience conducting user research and translating findings into actionable design improvements.
- Proven experience working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product designs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly to stakeholders.
- Bonus Skills: Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
