About the role:
In this Product Management role, you’ll benefit from our heavy investment in R&D as you build and roll-out new products for the rapidly changing fintech landscape.
In order to advance the way, the world pay, banks and invests, you’ll manage life-cycle planning activities for the delivery of new products and ensure changes in market and business priorities are reflected.
About the team:
As a member of the Open Banking product team, you will be a leader in an
exciting and dynamic environment at the intersection of technology and banking.
You’ll work with a team of professionals who are passionate about and take a client-first approach to everything they do. The Open Banking product team manages the day-to-day and strategic direction for multiple products which provide banking and digital experiences and services to small, mid-tier and large banks across the U.S.
The portfolio includes online and mobile banking apps, digital account opening, data analytics and reporting capabilities, next-generation engagement tools and more.
What you will be doing:
Understanding and driving the product requirements for the data and analytics initiatives.
Preparing and presenting product plans that identify risks and challenges, opportunities and growth strategies.
Managing project inventory during budget planning process and providing content for product roadmaps and ensuring timely delivery.
Monitoring each product’s revenue and expense statements.
Acting as Subject Matter Expert by working with data sets to discover trends and champion new ways of looking at the data.
Leading Insights-as-a-Service initiative.
Managing the implementation and rollout of the various data pack product releases.
Working closely with FIS clients, helping them understand the product and data.
Collaborating with senior management, completing business scope documents and managing key vendor relationships.
Identifying both strategic and tactical in ways of creating new features, understanding how they fit into the larger product suite.
What you will need:
You have 10+ years of data product management experience.
You have 7+ years of experience working with data analytics tools (examples: PowerBI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot).
You have 5+ years of experience working with digital banking products.
General business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision and executive presence.
Knowledge of financial services industry and associated products.
A bachelor’s in business or marketing or the equivalent experience.
You will also:
Demonstrate leadership qualities by establishing and articulating a clear vision of success for your product and how goals and objectives will be achieved.
Ensuring the product team, business partners and clients remain up to date on our data strategy by managing the product’s strategic direction and roadmap
Work closely with business and technology finance teams to review and monitor financial metrics and align resources to high priority projects.
Collaborate with partners to provide business updates, content for market messages, sales collateral, and RFPs (request for proposal).
Added bonus if you have:
Experience with ThoughtSpot.
Experience with on-prem and cloud data analytic solutions.
Experience with Snowflake warehouses.
