Job Description
About Presence
Presence is the leading provider of teletherapy solutions for children with diverse needs. Through our award-winning technology, Presence connects speech language pathologists, occupational therapists, and behavior and mental health specialists to schools, districts, and organizations nationwide. Our growing network of 2,000+ clinicians has delivered more than 6 million teletherapy sessions to students across 47 states. Presence is backed by Spectrum Equity, TPG’s Rise Fund and Bain Capital Double Impact.
We are a majority-female company led by Kate Eberle Walker, an education industry leader, working mom, and author of The Good Boss: 9 Ways Every Manager Can Support Women at Work. We are a remote-first workforce. We place a high value on schedule coordination to stay connected with each other when working in different places, and to create opportunities to engage with each other in person as well.
We are looking for Product Managers who are interested in:
- Using tech to help scale therapy to reach more of those who need it.
- Designing the processes and infrastructure that will drive the therapy platform of the future.
- Leading interdisciplinary functional teams of designers, engineers, clinicians, and operators to reimagine therapy sessions as a product from the bottom up.
- Make Presence the preferred employer of providers by advocating for our community of providers and empowering them to be impactful while loving their work.
- Developing and managing the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a category at Presence, working with stakeholders to rapidly plan, prioritize, and ship product.
- Nice to have: Experience with Workforce Management: Payroll, Time Attendance, or Billing solutions
What makes a successful Product Manager at Presence?
Someone who is:
- User-obsessed. You are deeply empathetic, constantly putting yourself in the shoes of our users (whether that be our schools, students, or clinical team).
- Impact-driven. You care about your impact upon the world. That means more building and less talking as you work towards something that has the chance of changing people’s lives.
- A Renaissance (wo)man. You’re curious, always learning, and as comfortable talking shop with a clinician as with a designer or engineer.
- Strategic and Tactical. You can alternate between 10,000-foot and 10-foot views easily and at the right time. Product vision? Fit-and-finish? All in a day’s work.
- Creative. You don’t need to be asked to think outside of the box...you know when to climb hills and when to jump them.
- Scrappy. You’re a hustler who will get your hands dirty and protect your builders at every turn.
- A leader. You’re kind, charismatic, and humble. Teams want to be in the trenches with you, and to build something great by your side.
