Senior Product Manager – Networking/Hardware

Location: US, Canada, Europe or Israel

US, Canada, Europe - Remote Work/WFH

THE ROLE

As a Product Manager Hardware, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and lifecycle management of our networking products, specifically focusing on high end systems, chassis and router/white box hardware components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and contract manufacturing to deliver industry-leading solutions that exceed customer expectations and drive business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Product Strategy and Roadmap:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for the router hardware, aligned with the company's overall vision and objectives.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and customer needs.

2. Product Development:

  • Collaborate with engineering teams (inhouse and outsourced) to define product requirements, specifications, and features.
  • Drive the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and quality standards.
  • Manage the product development lifecycle, including prioritizing features, resolving technical challenges, and addressing issues that may arise during development.

3. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, solicit feedback, and address concerns.

4. Product Launch and Go-to-Market:

  • Lead the product launch activities, including developing go-to-market strategies, creating marketing collateral, and coordinating sales enablement efforts.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop pricing strategies, positioning, and messaging that resonate with target customers.

5. Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Monitor product performance, customer feedback, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for product enhancements, optimizations, and end-of-life planning.
  • Develop and execute strategies for product extensions, upgrades, and refresh cycles to ensure the continued relevance and competitiveness of our offerings.

Requirements

  • Highly experienced technology professional from the networking industry
  • 5-7 years in engineering and product management with a minimum of 3 years in a product management role with responsibility for hardware requirements and collaborating with engineering to build a delivery plan with clear priority and business goals
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in product management in area of high-end systems (modular chassis, high speed SerDes lanes, cooling, power supplies design)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with a customer-centric approach and a passion for delivering innovative solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS (1 minimum needed)

  • CCNP-RS / JNCIP-ENT or equivalent hands-on experience
  • CCNP-SP / JNCIP-SP or equivalent hands-on experience
  • CCIE-RS(ENT) / JNCIE-ENT or equivalent hands-on experience
  • CCIE-SP / JNCIE-SP or equivalent hands-on experience
  • ITILv3 F: Information Technology Infrastructure Library V3

EDUCATION (1 minimum needed)

· Masters/Bachelor of Engineering

· Diploma in Computer Engineering
