ABOUT THE ROLE

Spellbook launched the very first generative AI copilot for lawyers, has grown 5x over the past 12 months, and serves 2500+ law firms. Our tool focuses on solving the drudgery of contract review and drafting.

Having recently secured $20-million USD ($27-million CAD) in Series A funding, we are poised for rapid growth and are building a world-class team to shape the future of legaltech. With over 50 dedicated employees, we’re a scrappy startup where every team member’s impact is felt daily.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our growing product team and help drive our mission to make legal services accessible by eliminating drudgery for lawyers. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to shape our roadmap and deliver solutions for our customers. Our current PM team is a small, agile team of two, and we’re looking for someone who is eager to have a significant impact on our growth trajectory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be a crucial contributor to a product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with Spellbook’s mission and customer needs.

  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to deliver features that enhance our AI-powered contract review and drafting tools.

  • Conduct user research and leverage customer insights to prioritize features and drive product decisions.

  • Partner with marketing, sales, and support teams to launch products effectively and communicate value propositions.

  • Establish metrics to measure product success and refine the strategy based on data and customer feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in SaaS, AI, or legaltech.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing product strategies that drive customer and business outcomes.

  • Deep understanding of user-centric design principles and experience in conducting user research.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • Skilled at leveraging data to inform decisions and iterate on the product roadmap.

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead in a fast-paced, agile environment.

NICE TO HAVES

  • Experience working with AI-powered products.

  • Familiarity with legaltech or B2B SaaS industries.

  • Previous experience in a startup environment.
