Workyard is a growing startup based out of the Bay Area, operating in the construction industry where $300 billion is spent annually on labor. We are developing an industry changing technology SaaS solution to manage labor for construction companies. Through a unique approach into the market, we are fundamentally changing the experience for both companies and workers by adding trust, transparency, and technology to the labor management process.

Having established product/market fit and scaling, we are ready to bring on an experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to spearhead our product marketing activities. This is a critical high impact role at the company and will report to the Head of Marketing.

This is a 100% remote position but must be based out of the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and maintain the product market fit, identify pain points, and articulate the ideal customer profile and buyer personas
  • Deeply understand the construction market, our product and product plans to identify and create opportunities for growth collaborating across the organization
  • Develop and execute company product positioning in the market – high level value propositions to feature-level product differentiation
  • Maintain a firm grasp of the competitive landscape and identify areas of competitive differentiation
  • Equip sales teams to close deals, support product launches, and deploy through all market-facing communication touch points (website, sales messages, content, etc.)
  • Develop thought leadership pieces (surveys, decks, white papers, etc.) that position Workyard as a knowledgeable and trusted authority in the construction industry
  • Craft a content strategy that addresses each part of the buyer’s journey, online and offline, from awareness to decision
  • Collaborate across marketing to develop and execute programs to impact sales to new and existing customers, including content creation for product launches, demand generation programs, website content, product videos, webinars, case studies, blog posts..

Requirements

•5+ years of marketing B2B SaaS products

  • Proven track record of leading initiatives, setting strategic and operational metrics, hitting goals, and succeeding in a team environment
  • Outstanding analytical mindset that develops strategies and provides direction based on data and insights
  • Compelling storyteller with strategic orientation
  • Thought leader and problem solver: You can translate high-level goals into actionable plans and can drive an agenda that remains focused on achieving clear goals.
  • Excellent messaging and content generation core competency
  • Entrepreneurial roll-up-the-sleeves self-starter to take the lead in shaping direction forward based on insights
  • Bonus Points: Construction industry experience or knowledge

•Undergraduate degree; MBA a plus
