Job Summary:
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products or systems. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software. Your expertise in quality assurance will contribute to the success of our products and the satisfaction of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and technical specifications and participate in design reviews.
- Identify, document, and prioritize defects and issues found during testing, and work with development teams to resolve them.
- Perform manual and automated testing, utilizing testing frameworks and tools as needed.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test data, and test reports.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that software changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience of at least 5-7 years in quality assurance and software testing roles, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a managerial position.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency in test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (preferably Cypress, and JavaScript).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bonus: Experience in digital marketing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications in software quality assurance or testing (e.g., ISTQB).
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with performance testing
