As a Senior Risk/Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding Baker Hughes information systems by analyzing a wide range of cybersecurity events.

As a Senior Risk/Cyber Security Analyst You will also be responsible for:

  • Ensuring cyber controls are documented and updated according to regulatory requirements or cyber security standards.
  • Helping mature the Cyber Risk Management program, developing and maintaining processes and procedures for policies lifecycle management
  • Supporting the application of practices and policies using Archer GRC.
  • Supporting the migration from Archer GRC to ServiceNow IRM
  • Assist with the maintenance and ongoing process improvement of the existing exception management process
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to update controls and work on documenting remediation patterns and mitigating gaps to maintain compliance with reliability, privacy, security and regulatory standards
  • Interacting with multiple cross-functional teams to educate, train, and address questions related to process, controls and risk mitigation
  • Producing regular reporting, supporting continuous improvement of procedures and controls.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or STEM-related field
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT Risk or Cybersecurity.
  • Have hands on experience on industry compliance frameworks and compliance regulations (ISO27001/2, NIS 2, NIST CSF/800-53)
  • Have experience with maintaining standards, policies, procedures as it pertains to information security, IT Ops and IT Risk and Compliance
  • Have good interpersonal and team player skills, able to mediate conflicts, recognize options, propose and implement solutions
  • Have ability of a self-starter requiring minimal supervision
  • Have ability to switch context quickly and work on multiple streams of work concurrently.
  • Have a Cyber Risk Register knowledge/experience.
