Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) is the group responsible for leading Ericsson’s Enterprise Networking and Security business. Our growing product portfolio spans across wide area networks, local area networks and enterprise security. How Will You Contribute to the Company?

The Senior Sales Engineer supports sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base and partners with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles.  They are also responsible for selling into new prospects as well as farming back into existing customers to ensure high renewal and customer satisfaction levels. Measures of success include new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction and contribution to overall sales team and business success, and, most importantly, sales achievement against quota.

What Will You Do?

  • Support sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base

  • Travel within the territory is required as necessary to support company-based engagements

  • Objective #1 is to exceed our sales targets

  • Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles

  • Aid in modeling a financial business case associated with sales opportunities

  • Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions

  • Create and deliver presentations & demos which clearly communicate a unique value proposition

  • Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses

  • Promote, conduct and manage Proof of Concept trials in the field, managing to their success criteria

  • Provide customers and prospects with hands on configuration assistance and training

  • Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements

  • Work tradeshows as necessary

  • Collect and document competitive intelligence

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Five (5+) years of demonstrated solution sales experience

  • Experience in a complex sales environment

  • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives

  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner

  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in networking and/or information security technologies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent presentation and creativity skills

  • Confident self-starter with integrity and accountability; a track record of consistent achievement

  • A strong aptitude for business strategy and excellent collaboration skills

  • Decisive problem-solving ability and capability to assess people and situations with accuracy

  • Can deliver a clear and compelling value proposition to customers/partners

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, start-up, team-oriented environment

  • Demonstrated leadership behaviors

  • Must currently reside in the respective region

  • While there is a primary location listed on this requisition, other locations may be considered

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree supported by five to seven (5-7) years of demonstrated solution sales experience

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CPCNA, CCSP, GCFW, PCNSE, JNCIS-SEC/JNCIP-ENT, GCIH, etc.)

  • Advanced level network technology certifications (e.g., CPCNE, CCNP, CCIE, CCSP, JNCIE, etc.)

  • Knowledge of certificates, key management systems, HSM, and related protocols

  • Experience with cybersecurity and networking solutions/technologies including SWG, CASB, ZTNA/VPN, NGFW, IAM, DLP, Data security, SD-WAN

  • Experience working with Cloud Identity Providers, SIEM and SOAR systems, EDR

  • Experience working with public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP)

  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, REST API frameworks, and writing regex expressions

  • Experience building/maintaining Private Cellular Networks and/or Public Cellular technology experience

At Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions, we know that our people are the key to our success. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package to help with your individual needs and goals.

Your Pay:

The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

$82,600.00 - $153,400.00

Your pay also includes the opportunity for monthly sales incentives. Actual payouts are dependent upon the attainment of agreed to revenue goals and objectives as determined by our management team.

Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions provides generous paid time off, including: 15 days of Flexible Time Off (FTO), four paid quarterly well-being days, and 11 paid annual holidays (includes nine company holidays and up to two floating holidays).  Please note that an employee’s FTO balance and floating holidays may be prorated in the first year, based on start date. We also offer paid maternity-leave benefits and six weeks 100% paid family leave for all employees.
