About role
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Client services catering to more than 368 million active users, and you will play an important part in defining and evolving the backend architecture.
We are looking for an ambitious developer who has a passion for technology and a great will to learn and grow with us.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications and coping with the challenge of working in a distributed environment
- Operate mission-critical services, providing high availability (99.999%)
- Collaborate across business units and drive solutions
- Explore new solutions and technologies
- Build a scalable and reliable system
- Maintaining open communication lines with team members, aligning on project expectations and timelines
- Implementing and enacting policies in line with the company's strategic plans regarding utilized technologies, work organization, etc.
- Conducting training and knowledge-sharing
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience with Scala or Java and Play Framework
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience working with messaging systems - Kafka
- Experience in working with distributed systems, architecture, and patterns
- Experience of working with non-relational databases
- Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Practical experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Good English skills, oral and written
Salary: 165 - 210 PLN net + VAT/h B2B (depending on knowledge and experience)
