About you
You’ll be joining Team Lemur, a team of 6 engineers focussing on ClearBank’s Faster Payments (FPS) and Confirmation of Payee (CoP) products. As a senior software engineer, you will be reporting to the Engineering Manager and part of a fast-growing business that is challenging the market and doing things differently.
You will be responsible for the design and delivery of new software products, in addition to enhancing existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.
We’re big on ownership and accountability so experience of working in an environment where you are responsible for your code from design through to development all the way through to monitoring in production and any incidents that may occur.
Requirements
- C# (.NET)
- Automated testing
- Microservices architecture and related patterns
- Maintenance of production systems
- Mentorship and leading within a team.
- Messaging systems (preferably Azure Service Bus)
Desirable if you have one of the following:
- Kubernetes (preferably in AKS)
- Databases (we mainly use Azure SQL and Cosmos DB)
- Monitoring and alerting
- Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform)
