Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack (Coinbase Advisor - Agentic Trading)

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack to join the Coinbase Advisor team within the Consumer & Business group. This team is building AI-powered agentic trading experiences that help users discover opportunities, execute strategies, and manage portfolios through intelligent, conversational interfaces. You'll own the full-stack systems that bring these experiences to life across web and mobile, turning complex AI and trading concepts into fast, intuitive interactions used by millions of customers.

What you'll do:

Own end-to-end full-stack development for Coinbase Advisor's agentic trading surfaces, delivering production-ready UI across web and React Native mobile as well as the Go backend services that power real-time AI and trading features
Build real-time, interactive interfaces for AI-driven trade recommendations, portfolio insights, and autonomous execution flows, ensuring sub-second responsiveness and visual clarity
Partner with AI/ML, backend, design, and product teams to define and ship new agentic trading features from concept through launch
Drive architecture decisions for the Advisor product area, establishing patterns for streaming AI responses, real-time market data rendering, and stateful conversational UX
Lead code quality standards through rigorous code reviews, testing strategies, and performance optimization across the Advisor full-stack

Required Skills and Experience:

5+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience shipping consumer-facing web and/or mobile products at scale, with deep proficiency in React/TypeScript or backend systems (Go preferred)
Demonstrated ability to own architecture for a product area, including state management, API integration patterns, and performance optimization that measurably improved latency or reliability
Experience integrating AI or ML-powered features into user-facing products, including streaming responses, agentic workflows, or conversational interfaces
Proven track record independently driving projects from zero to production, owning both product and technical decisions, and delivering outcomes with minimal oversight
Familiarity with crypto, financial products, or trading platforms
Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Pay Transparency Notice: Base salary varies by location (see range below). Total compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).

Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus):

$186,065—$218,900 USD
