As a Senior Software Engineer, you are expected to:
Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites and themes.
Build and customize plugins to extend functionality.
Optimize site performance, security, and scalability.
Implement responsive and SEO-friendly web designs.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade legacy code.
Ensure seamless integrations with APIs and third-party services.
Delivery high code quality standards
Collaborating seamlessly with designers, software and test engineers in an Agile setup
Share and promote your ideas towards the improvement of the products and the business
Success in this role means:
Improve usability of the platform for our Product Team
Introduce new features that facilitate site migration and creation on the platform.
Sites are maintained & kept up to date
Sprint commitments are achieved regularly
You are able to challenge the decisions taken within the team with fresh new ideas and solutions.
Requirements
5+ years of proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role
Strong knowledge in PHP programming language
Experience with Wordpress development
Proficiency in database technologies such as MySQL
Strong understanding of responsive design, SEO principles, and web performance.
Understanding of Core Web Vitals
Knowledge of version control systems
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Passionate about self-improvement and web technologies
Strong English communication skills (written & verbal)
Ability to address change with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new ways

Experience in working with Docker
Experience in working with i18n (Internationalization)
