Job Description

This is a remote position.

  • Provide technical leadership in system engineering and consulting for clients, including managing and optimizing VMware environments.
  • Administer and support VMware products such as VCF, VCD, NSX, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, vRA/vRO/ARIA, and Tanzu.
  • Collaborate with customers to analyze and solve complex infrastructure challenges, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Develop and implement system administration processes, scripts, and automation workflows using tools like Ansible, Python, and other DevOps technologies.
  • Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, providing infrastructure solutions and ensuring best practices for cloud deployment.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, leveraging tools for automation and continuous integration/delivery.
  • Utilize knowledge of Linux, networking, and security to implement robust solutions across client systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and other team members, ensuring high standards of delivery.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in system engineering, cloud technologies, and automation tools, ensuring continuous improvement.


    • Requirements

  • Senior-to-Lead level experience in system engineering, with a focus on VMware technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware products, including VCF, VCD, NSX, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, vRA/vRO/ARIA, and Tanzu.
  • Proficient in system administration and scripting, particularly using Ansible and Python.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure management.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and DevOps workflows.
  • Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and security concepts.
  • Excellent customer-facing consulting skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
