Job Description

At Axes In Motion we develop and publish F2P mobile games from our office in Seville. Our games have been downloaded more than 400 million times all over the world, with a focus on open world driving simulators. We are currently expanding our talented and passionate team with the addition of a Senior Unity Programmer.

We are looking for a versatile person who is proactive, passionate, and wants to excel every day. With the ability to prioritize and provide ideas and solutions. With high communication skills and committed.

In addition, it would be a plus to have previous industry experience, and be passionate about technology and videogames!

What will you do?

  • Works on performance, optimization, gameplay systems, tools, and other features as required across multiple platforms and technologies
  • Plans and designs solutions in collaboration with team members
  • Contributes as a team member
  • Provides accurate estimates and delivers high-quality work on schedule

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience programming.
  • Have shipped at least one mobile game and have experience maintaining existing, published products.
  • Strong C# skills
  • Game content pipeline ability
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Cross-departmental communication. Ability to work with game artists, designers, etc.
  • Agile development
  • Experience with Google Play and/or App Store

Bonus points for:

  • Shaders/OpenGL knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of GPU and CPU bottlenecks
  • Mastery of metrics tool that are well established in the industry, such as GameAnalytics
  • You have mentored other junior developers
  • More than one tech domain such as Networking, Tools, Rendering...
  • Experience in multiplayer programming or knowledge in networking and matchmaking
  • Experience as a Native Android developer Experience and with iOS technology.
  • Knowledge and experience with ANR
