The Role

You will be responsible for editing short form video content across Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, and others that will engage with millions of consumers. Your content will not only elevate ad performance with measurable results across our portfolio of brands, particularly FinanceBuzz. Beyond possessing a sharp creative sense and editing skills, you can bring innovative ideas that drive optimization. You can identify the potential in a video ad and elevate its tone to align with the objective.

How You will Help The Team

  • Edit high-quality, UGC-style video ads for various platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in cooperation with internal and external teams.
  • Contribute to Pre-packaging (title and thumbnail concepts) for your videos.
  • Deep understanding of short form content – hooks, storytelling, pacing, and strategy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven success on short form content as the editor for growing accounts.
  • Speed and clarity in communication (primarily in Slack).
  • Pay close attention to comments on all channels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with editing software like Abode Premiere.
  • Deep understanding of short form content – hooks, storytelling, pacing, and strategy.
  • Proven success on short form content as the editor for growing accounts.
  • A passion for developing eye-catching, enticing creative assets to help drive consumer engagement (CTR, CPA) and positive ROI.
  • Analytical skills, basic understanding of paid advertising KPIs.
  • Staying on top of trends on the various platforms (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook).
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with an openness to change.

  • Record a loom telling us about your most successful video and WHY it was successful. Be sure to point out which channel it was for and why it was more successful on that channel than others.
  • You apply and the team will review your application.
  • A 30 minute initial screen with our Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition.
  • A 1 hour interview with the team where we will dig deep into your experience and this role. For part of it, you will present a video ad from your portfolio.
  • A 1 hour culture and values interview with the team.
  • 1-2 business days before receiving an offer after the process is concluded.
