In 2022, CommentSold debuted its lightweight video commerce plugin technology, Videeo, which gives any retailer or brand the ability to embed and go live with engaging, branded live video commerce experiences within days by easily integrating into an existing e-commerce stack.

CommentSold is looking for an experienced, data-driven SEO Analyst to a growing Digital Marketing team. This role requires both technical and content SEO expertise to continuously improve the experience of our customers and prospects. As the SEO Analyst, you will lead the growth of our organic channel by identifying and implementing best-in-class SEO and content development strategies that will drive high organic rankings, as well as increase traffic to, and conversions on the website.

In this role, you will

  • Regularly identify ways to measurably improve organic rankings terms in our keyword universe & drive traffic to the site
  • Implement opportunities to improve page rank including but not limited to updating title tags, meta descriptions, alt-text, header tags, and on-page content, search engine ranking factors
  • Perform gap analysis and keyword research to identify new keyword and content opportunities
  • Use analytics to identify trends, diagnose issues, and measure impact of SEO changes
  • Identify opportunities pertaining to website crawlability, page speed, core web vitals, html/css/js improvements, and implement changes in WordPress
  • Improve internal linking structure & generate back-links to the site
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager, product marketing and product management to drive cohesive SERP strategy & identify opportunities for keyword expansion & page development
  • Collaborate with the Creative Team to generate new blog & page content to drive top and mid funnel traffic
  • Be a subject matter expert for SEO and contribute to product enhancements
  • Develop and implement tests at a rapid pace
  • Develop and maintain SEO knowledge base (test results, processes, reference material, etc.)

If you’re right for this role you

  • Have 6+ years of experience in SEO (B2B preferred)
  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Have a strong understanding of search engine algorithms and content development strategy
  • Have a thorough understanding of the Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Keyword research software
  • Have a fundamental understanding of and experience with HTML/CSS and WordPress
  • Have strong mathematical, analytical and writing skills
