JOIN US as a Service Engineer and we can offer you an opportunity to work in a high-tech, specialist company partnering with some of the best global names in aerospace, medical, semiconductor and clean energy. Our UK facility is located in Leicestershire but due to a growing number of customers and partners, we are looking for someone to be based in Scotland. The role will however, be UK and Europe wide.
Principal duties & responsibilities:
- Maintenance, servicing, and commissioning of EDM and laser machine tools.
- Preventive and reactive maintenance at customer sites.
- Maintenance of equipment within its manufacturing facility.
- Provide installation and commissioning support for new systems and technical upgrade packages.
- Providing technical support and training both internally and externally.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have excellent all-round skills in electrical or electronic and mechanical maintenance disciplines; this required level of competence and experience cannot be attained without recognised, time-served type training. Previous five+ axis machine tool maintenance experience with knowledge of Heidenhain and PC based control systems is desirable. However, we can consider someone who can show a clear and logical approach to fault finding complex electronic control systems as well as reactive service and preventative maintenance activities on complex equipment.
