Role Overview
Help train next-generation AI systems by creating high-fidelity 3D simulation environments and assets that accurately reflect real-world objects, instruments, materials, and physical behavior. This remote contract role focuses on advanced simulation and AI training, and prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and configure 3D assets and environments in Isaac Sim, Gazebo, MuJoCo, or similar simulation platforms.
- Translate real-world objects and instruments into simulations, matching geometry, scale, material properties, and physical behavior.
- Collaborate with scientists and subject-matter experts to validate simulated-environment accuracy.
- Tune mass, friction, collision properties, and joint dynamics so simulated objects behave like their real counterparts.
- Troubleshoot differences between simulated and real-world behavior.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with at least one robotics or physics simulation platform, such as Isaac Sim, Gazebo, MuJoCo, Unity, Unreal, or PyBullet.
- Background in 3D modeling, CAD, or environment design.
- Understanding of physics simulation, including rigid body dynamics, materials, and sensors.
- Strong collaboration skills when working with scientific and technical stakeholders.
- Close attention to detail when matching real-world fidelity.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $60 to $150 per hour.
