About the role:

We are looking to hire a SDET to strengthen our Test Automation Team to ensure a high-quality level of test automation and test coverage while we work towards production. Here’s what you’ll be doing / Your Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop and improve our automated test pipeline, used for both frontend and backend testing.

  • Participate in the test strategy definition alongside the QA team.

  • Refactor our codebase towards testability.

  • Participate in post-mortem of production issues to identify missing tests or new tests needed to validate the solution discussed.

  • Perform Defect Tracking & Management in JIRA.

  • Integrate and monitor automated tests into our CI/CD pipeline.



Here’s what you need to be successful / Requirements:


  • Experience in creating from scratch, maintaining and improving automatic testing frameworks.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration.

  • Experience with Git code versioning.

  • Experience debugging issues, reporting bugs and qualifying bug fixes.

  • Experience collaborating with engineering and product development teams.

  • Capacity to define, recommend and use different test strategies (eg. unit tests, component tests, integration tests, and E2E tests).

  • Passion for our mission: helping millions of people around the world improve their health.

  • Able communicator in English. Portuguese is optional but welcome.



Nice to have / Extra points if you have:

  • Experience with Screenplay Pattern architecture.

  • Experience with API testing using Javascript/Typescript.

  • Experience with automated testing using Python.

  • Experience with automated testing using Ruby.

  • Exposure to AWS/K8s/Docker/MongoDB technologies and web technologies.

  • Experience with Robot Framework using Browser or Selenium Library.

  • Experience with Playwright (in Typescript or Python).

  • Experience debugging issues, reporting bugs and qualifying bug fixes.

  • Experience with Jira and X-Ray.

  • Good knowledge of database technologies (SQL, noSQL).

  • Experience with non-functional testing of performance, reliability, availability, and security for distributed systems.
