Join our dynamic team as a Software Engineer, collaborating with back-end developers and QA engineers to enhance our diverse product portfolio.

You'll dive into projects ranging from ETL processes to building UIs for applications like the Forgot Password App, all while working alongside dedicated teams and cross-functional roles like Product Owners and Project Managers.

Proficiency in JAVA, relational databases, and REST services is essential, while experience with AWS and strong English communication skills will set you apart in this global, innovation-driven environment.

The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, licensure, certifications, related experience and other related factors.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and integrate new systems and software solutions throughout the full system life cycle.
  • Collaborate on software engineering projects, adhering to timelines and meeting project goals.
  • Design systems with reusable, extensible, and stable components aligned with Copyright Clearance Center criteria.
  • Conduct timely design and code reviews, ensuring thorough documentation of systems.
  • Contribute to the evolution of application standards and infrastructure, while following production processes and methodologies.

What you skills/experience you need to have:

  • Minimum 3 years of Java, Spring, Postgresql, and AWS experience for web and server-based application development.
  • Proficiency in search frameworks, especially OpenSearch, and configuring and maintaining index-based instances.
  • Strong skills in designing and implementing indexes, mappings, and analyzers for efficient data retrieval.
  • Experience with RESTful services, GitHub, and Jira, with at least 2 years in project management or system life cycle development, particularly Agile/SAFe.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, proactive approach to adopting new technologies, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
