Job Overview:
InvestorCOM is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and evolve the software that powers our compliance platform and delivers meaningful value to our clients.
This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll contribute across the full software development lifecycle—from solution design and implementation through testing, deployment, and continuous improvement. Working closely with Product, Engineering, and Quality Assurance, you'll build reliable, scalable solutions that deliver meaningful value to our clients.

What you’ll do
Software Engineering
Design, develop, test, and maintain software features using modern engineering practices
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that meets quality, performance, and security standards
Participate in code reviews, providing thoughtful feedback while continuously improving your own craft
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software issues across development, testing, and production environments
Contribute to improving application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability Collaboration & Delivery
Partner closely with Product, Quality Assurance, and Engineering teammates to understand requirements and deliver customer value
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Estimate work, communicate progress, and proactively identify risks and dependencies
Support software releases and production issue resolution as needed Continuous Improvement
Continuously develop your technical skills and stay current with modern engineering practices and technologies
Contribute to improving engineering standards, documentation, tooling, and development processes
Leverage AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity while maintaining high standards for code quality, security, and maintainability
Share knowledge, collaborate openly, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Take ownership of assigned work from design through delivery, ensuring high standards of quality, documentation, and maintainability What you’ll bring
Required
3–5 years of professional software development experience
Strong experience developing applications using C# and .NET
Experience working with SQL Server and relational databases
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Experience developing or supporting applications hosted in Microsoft Azure.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software design principles, and secure coding practices
Experience using Git and collaborative development workflows
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills Nice to have
Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
Experience developing SaaS applications
Familiarity with automated testing practices
Experience working within Agile development environments
Experience leveraging AI tools to improve software development productivity Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React
Experience in financial services or other regulated industries How you'll work
