We are looking for a talented and knowledgeable Software Engineer to join our team for a maintenance project. The successful candidate will be tasked with updating and integrating the latest versions of PHP, Node.js, and Vue.js to enhance the stability, security, and performance of our software systems. Responsibilities include addressing critical vulnerabilities, conducting routine maintenance, and assisting with the integration of a SIG compliance framework.
Responsibilities:- Update and integrate the latest versions of PHP, Node.js, and Vue.js, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our software systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of updates and fixes.
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve software defects and issues promptly.
- Engage with partners and internal engineering teams to understand requirements, develop functional specifications, and build and deploy to production.
- Develop/Maintain Knowbe4’s API platform which involves building out extensible and scalable services on which customers/vendors can consume our APIs.
- Develop software using the KnowBe4 Agile Methodologies.
- 3+ years experience as full stack engineer for enterprise-grade cloud-based SaaS products.
- Proficient knowledge of PHP, Node.js, and JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, and Yii.
- Working knowledge in relational databases such as MySQL/Postgres and expertise in SQL.
- Experience building and integrating REST-based APIs with best practices of authentication & authorization in enterprise-grade production environments.
- Exposure to setting up and managing continuous delivery and integration pipelines using tools like Docker, GitLab, Terraform, and other automated deployment and testing tools. Willingness to gain expertise in these skills is expected.
- Working experience in developing clean, unit-tested, and secure code.
- Should be open to learning new technologies & programming languages as and when needed.
- Understanding and experience in building software systems following Object Oriented Software design principles.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in building scalable data processing pipelines would be a valuable asset.
