Job Description

We are looking for a Senior level Backend Engineer (Team Lead, although the team is yet to be built) to join our Mobility team as we grow and expand our market impact and reach. We use the latest technologies and architectures to build fantastic solutions that help us finance progress in e-mobility, and clean energy adoption.

As the Senior engineer in Mobility, you will be working independently as an autonomous contributor reporting directly to the Head of Technology - Mobility while collaborating with the wider Software Engineering teams. Placing an emphasis on high quality output observability and monitoring as well as automated testing in all environments, including production, using infrastructure as code demonstrating the unique nature of some of our work.

About Us

We predominantly use C# written against the latest .NET stack, and favour microservices hosted on Azure using Kubernetes for all new implementations. We are constantly iterating towards a completely decoupled, event driven architecture across our entire software portfolio.

We have a mix of legacy services and greenfield microservices, so if you love the challenge of improving a legacy codebase while working on new projects then this might just be the role for you.

Expertise

Our expectations are that you would be comfortable working independently while owning the entire software stack, including the supporting infrastructure, throughout the entire software lifecycle from inception, through production and right the way to decommissioning under a DevOps culture.

If you also value e-mobility adoption and the constraints that continuous delivery places upon engineering processes and embrace testing and observability as first order concerns in the development of software, you probably have what it takes to join one of the teams and help shape our future.

We are looking for good grasp of / and experience with C#.NET, Event Driven Systems, microservices, testing and Deployment.
