About this Role

Our Solutions Consultant (SC) is a key aspect of our sales team, working to ensure our prospects and partners have a strong understanding of the value that the Arkestro platform provides.. Our customer experience and overall success begins with the solution consultants and we strive for a superior experience. The SC works in partnership with an Account Executive to make sure that Arkestro customers understand from their first contact point that they are working with a different type of company and solution.

Our SC’s are the type of people that once they find a problem, they cannot let go of that problem until they have found the right solution for the customer. This may require having expert knowledge of what the platform can do, but it may also require the ability to think outside the box and problem solve in new and creative ways. Above all, it requires the ability to understand a customer’s pain points and success factors so that they may craft a solution that meets those needs. Our SC’s favorite words are ‘How?’ and ‘Why?’ as they try to focus their passion for understanding on how and why our prospects do the things the way they do. They learn their business so that they can best articulate how Akrestro will provide them with the solution they need.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate discovery conversations with customers to understand their needs (including legacy processes and systems) allowing the Arkestro solution to be positioned with the correct value proposition
  • Partner with our Account Executive team and our customers to drive the right solutions and articulate the value proposition for our product
  • Be a go-to expert on our platform, offering technical guidance and acting as a key partner to our customers and internal teams alike - ensuring that we are delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving the right outcomes for them
  • Facilitate the evaluation cycle of deals including answering questions related to business processes, technical integrations to other systems, and security architecture
  • Continuously gather market trends and requirements, and educate our customers on how to utilize our platform in the best way. Introduce new features, technical functionalities, and best possible technical integration solutions
  • Deliver high-value demonstrations to customers, as well as maintaining and building new demo environments as applicable by industry vertical and/or specific deal pursuits
  • Participate in creating Business Cases and tangible Return on Investment (ROI) models
  • Convey the “voice of the customer” back to the Arkestro Product Team

Necessary Qualifications

  • Procurement or Supply Chain Expertise: Having worked for a software company such as: SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Zycus, Jaggaer, Infor, Workday, Ivalua, GEP, Basware, EC Sourcing, Fairmarket, etc.
  • 5+ years of working in a pre-sales role within the software industry, participating in complex deal cycles that require interaction with multi-stakeholders along with TCO and ROI models
  • Understanding of the latest technologies and strategies for integrations using APIs and ability to speak to the topic
  • Ability to manage and manipulate customers data sets in tools like Excel with ease
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment within a growth stage company
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills as it relates to delivering presentations
  • Passionate to work with disruptive technology and be on the forefront of helping customers be successful
  • Willing to travel up to 35% of the time
Pay Range$150,000—$180,000 USD
