We are seeking an industrial sourcing expert to develop a collection of furniture and decorative objects whose main characteristic is ease of transport. The objective is simple: maximize aesthetics while minimizing logistics footprint.
Your mission consists of sourcing and developing products that break the mold of traditional cumbersome furniture:
Sourcing Sofas & Seating: Identification of manufacturers specialized in deconstructed or hybrid structures, capable of being compressed under vacuum (rolling technology) for standard parcel shipping.
Furniture & "Flat-Pack" Accessories: Search for decorative objects and small furniture pieces (side tables, shelves, lighting) whose design allows ultra-flat or stackable packaging.
Product Engineering: Work with factories on foam density, structural resistance, and ease of assembly for the end user.
Negotiation & Quality: Selection of reliable industrial partners, negotiation of manufacturing costs, and rigorous control of "shape recovery" tests after decompression.
Factory Knowledge: You have a solid network in furniture factories (Europe/International) mastering compression and optimized packaging.
Hard Product Focus: You master materials (HR foams, wood/metal structures, resins) and assembly techniques.
Logistics Culture: You think "transported volume" from the design phase.
Trend Vision: You uncover products that don't look like classic "kit furniture" but like genuine design pieces.
