IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, needs tutors and teachers to create instructional videos in Spanish. In this role, you will create short instructional videos preparing students to do well on Spanish Language Arts tasks.
This is a 1099 consulting role.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Create short Spanish-language instructional videos targeting individual IXL reading and writing skills at the Elementary School level. Most videos will be up to 5 minutes long and scripts will be provided
- Produce videos that explain a given Spanish Language Arts concept and walk through examples
- Record high-quality voice-overs in Spanish
- Deliver video lessons in a clear, engaging, upbeat, and professional manner
- Adhere to video production guidelines and file specifications
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Fluency in both Spanish (native-level speaker is a must) and English
- Experience recording, editing, and producing videos
- Understanding of age-appropriate Spanish vocabulary and instructional approach
- Experience teaching Spanish Language Arts concepts is a plus
- Experience translating between English and Spanish at a professional level is a big plus!
- Ability to present material in an engaging, effective manner
- Bachelor's degree preferred; coursework in Spanish Language Arts or education is a plus
Select candidates will be asked to complete their application by submitting a sample video using a pre-written script. Candidates with the top videos will be selected to move forward with the application process. If hired, you will be compensated with $200 upon delivery of each completed video.
