At Parexel, we are seeking a skilled SeniorBusiness Analyst to join our Corporate Services Systems and Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for data analysis and reporting for our Procurement, Corporate Real Estate, and Travel departments.

You will utilize your expertise in reporting platforms, including PowerBI, Oracle, and Salesforce, to assist your colleagues with their systems-related questions and provide valuable insights through analytics and reporting.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Create new PowerBI dashboards / update existing dashboards, as required by the business
  • Create complex reports using expert Excel skills, as required by the business
  • Creating PowerPoint presentations with key metrics, using complex charts and animated graphics
  • Analyze data, draw conclusions and provide actionable insights to management
  • Prepare spend reporting on a monthly and ad-hoc basis, providing detailed spend breakdowns for suppliers and clients
  • Conducting data analysis and clean-up, implementing rules to ensure ongoing data accuracy
  • Creating weekly utilization reports to showcase activity volume and turnaround times by the team
  • Creating monthly contracting reports, highlighting key metrics such as process status, contract renewal, and turnaround times
  • Generating Purchase Order reports on a regular and as-needed basis
  • Creating SOX reports and analyzing discrepancies, investigating and documenting root causes while obtaining necessary approvals
  • Providing monthly supplier diversity reports, showcasing spend and diverse supplier types across our portfolio
  • Maintaining corporate real estate reporting on buildings, status, square footage, and restructured space
  • Managing travel reporting, including the number of trips and spend with Travel

In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also:

  • Assist with ad-hoc reports as requested by internal stakeholders in the Corporate Services department
  • Review cost savings, verify accuracy of data and methodology used, approve/reject/discuss further with Procurement member to resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare monthly cost savings reporting
  • Create rebate forecasts as per contract terms and spend; chase-up with suppliers to ensure timely payment
  • Create reports to support EcoVadis and CDP submissions, including sustainability KPIs and other environmental metrics

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Expert in Microsoft Office suite, particularly with Excel, including complex formulas, power queries and VBA. Expert in creating complex charts and animated graphics in PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SharePoint and PowerBI
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet goals and deadlines
  • Strong multitasking ability, demonstrating innovative problem-solving skills
  • Effective team player with the capability to work independently
  • Exceptional communication skills and a customer-centric approach

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Mandatory 5+ years of experience in data reporting using advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • 1+ years' experience using SharePoint and PowerBI
  • Exposure to global operations and/or professional services

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Technology
