As Sr. Director, eCommerce Operations, you will be responsible for developing and managing the cross-functional execution of Smartsheet’s digital / eCommerce go-to-market strategy and customer digital purchase experience. You will lead a cross-functional team of Revenue Operations, Finance Operations, Enterprise IT, and Product leaders in defining, prioritizing, and delivering on investments in the digital self-service sales channel. You will bring thought leadership and deep expertise in scalable digital product trial and purchase experiences for B2B SaaS companies, and the integration of eCommerce experiences into traditional sales-assisted processes to increase customer satisfaction and sales productivity.

You will report to the Senior Director, GTM Operations. This is a remote eligible position and you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is registered.

You Will:

  • Serve as the go-to-market operations leader for Smartsheet’s eCommerce / self-service channel, connecting the customer experience and salesperson experience with technologies to enable best-in-class customer self-service experiences and the seamless integration of self-service experiences into sales-assisted buying processes
  • Lead a cross-functional team of Product, Revenue Operations, Finance, and IT leaders through the prioritization and execution of Smartsheet’s self-service and digital capabilities roadmap
  • Develop a vision for optimizing go-to-market efficiency through the integration of customer self-service capabilities with traditional sales-supported quote-to-cash systems and processes
  • Leverage deep experience with business-to-business e-Commerce implementations to inform key technology and architecture decisions
  • Establish Smartsheet as a leader in self-service eCommerce experience
  • Leverage strong business and technical acumen to translate complex business requirements into technical requirements, present recommendations to leadership, and report on status of key projects
  • Lead a cross-functional team of experienced revenue and technical operations professionals
  • All other duties as assigned

You Have:

  • 12+ years of experience in systems architecture design, enterprise application product management, and technical program management in the B2B software industry, including experience managing teams
  • Experience integrating sales-led quote-to-cash capabilities with e-Commerce platform capabilities
  • Ability to perform data analysis as required to understand customer behavior, identify process or system issues, and report on the status of key digital sales channel initiatives

Smartsheet provides a competitive base salary range for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive incentive opportunity and some roles may be eligible for a RSU stock grant upon accepted offer.California & New York: $210,600 - $271,350 | All other US states: $195,000 - $251,250.
